Multisensory Tours welcome adults who are blind or partially sighted to the museum. Tour themes change monthly and include in-depth verbal descriptions, touch materials, and other sensory activities. Weekday tours in the galleries are followed by a hands-on art-making experience in the classrooms.

Comprehensive aquatic, fitness, and recreational facility serving all ages. Offers Red Cross swimming instruction, individual and group fitness program, and day care. Family programs include after school care, summer camps, nursery school, and parent-toddler programs. Social and educational programs available for senior adults, singles, and youth. A museum-based experiential art education program for groups of individuals with cognitive impairments or other special needs. Uses guided tours, hands-on art workshops, and discussions specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each participating group. Focuses on providing opportunities for recreation and socialization, self-expression, and increasing sensory awareness.

Offers an annual photography show, open to amateurs and professionals of all ages throughout the United States. Sponsors an Awards Reception.

Offers a variety of programs and activities, such as workshops or lectures on gardening, photography, art and other topics, book clubs, movies, computer classes and more. Also publishes a literary review on fiction on non-fiction books.

Creates a versatile, first-class facility that will offer a diverse range of world-class entertainment for the South Shore and greater Long Island region. Situated only 30 minutes from Manhattan, we will strive to be an incubator for creative development for the artistic community while educating and inspiring young performers, writers, and technicians for careers within the entertainment industry. Assists and supports artists who live and/or work in the Town of Brookhaven. Provides regularly scheduled art exhibitions, workshops for adults and children in visual and performing arts, the annual Choral Festival at Brookhaven and much more.

Cinema offers a place to meet with frineds-make new ones-before and after the films. There are receptions and meetings with filmmakers and guest speakers. Also Video presentations and panel discussions, workshops, seminars, and music concerts. There is also a Cafe featuring Be Well Organic Vegetarian, Hearty Soups, and other healthy meals.

Offers members of the community the opportunity to participate in a music ensemble. The Music Department currently sponsors the following performing ensembles, Symphonic Band; College Choir; Suffolk Singers; Contemporary Music Ensemble; Jazz Ensemble; College Orchestra; and Guitar Ensemble.
