A museum-based experiential art education program for groups of individuals with cognitive impairments or other special needs. Uses guided tours, hands-on art workshops, and discussions specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each participating group. Focuses on providing opportunities for recreation and socialization, self-expression, and increasing sensory awareness.

Multisensory Tours welcome adults who are blind or partially sighted to the museum. Tour themes change monthly and include in-depth verbal descriptions, touch materials, and other sensory activities. Weekday tours in the galleries are followed by a hands-on art-making experience in the classrooms.
