GOLD COAST ARTS CENTER

Supports and promotes the arts in the community through education, performance, exhibition and outreach. The Center's School for the Arts offers classes in art, ceramics, painting, drawing, arts and crafts, cartooning, dance(ballet, modern, tap, Hip-Hop, ballroom), fencing, chess, music, instrument instruction, voice training, drama and film to students ages infants to seniors. The Center's Furman Film Series offers commercial, foreign, art, and independent films followed by post-screening discussions. GNAC is affiliated with the Kennedy Center and offers teacher training and development workshops to Plainview/Old Bethpage Schools and all Long Island School Districts. GNAC offers school tours that connect the arts to school curriculum and "Art Reach" Artist Residency Partnership Projects. A Speakers Bureau is available for presentations of film, art, and the founding of an arts center. Call for further information.
