ARTS IN EDUCATION: THE JOURNEY PROGRAM | HUNTINGTON ARTS COUNCIL
Integrates the arts into the school curriculum for the understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. This is accomplished through annual teachers' workshops for professional development and in-service credit, indigenous artists' visits to the schools and the lending program of Discovery Chests containing dozens of cultural artifacts and objects for hands-on experiences within the classroom.
