Giac's annual holiday "giving tree" provides gifts for children and teens participating in GIAC programs. Donors choose a tag from the tree with a child's age and gender; purchase a gift and bringing the unwrapped item to GIAC by a specified date.

Sign-ups for Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday December 2nd and will end Saturday December 14th The Broome County Toys for Tots headquarters is open Monday - Friday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm. we will also have extended hours for sign ups on Wednesday December 4th and December 11th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.Donations can be dropped off during the hours of operation until Tuesday, December 19th. Drop off barrels are located at the Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff's Office, Endicott Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, and the Vestal Police Department. As well as barrels throughout Broome County.In order to sign up for Broome County Toys for Tots, you must provide the following documents and meet the following criteria:1) Must be a Broome County Resident and provide documentation to prove address2) Must provide Birth Certificates for all children3) If you are not the parent, you must provide family court custody documents 4) Must show Photo identification5) Children must be between the ages of 1-10 years (No infants)IF YOU HAVE SIGNED UP AT THE SALVATION ARMY OR CATHOLIC CHARITIES, YOU CANNOT SIGN UP AT THIS LOCATON

Provides emergency assistance to individuals and families in need, including low-cost prom attire for teens.

Christmas Season of 2024:

Operates an Adopt-a-Family program for the Christmas holidays to provide holiday gifts to eligible individuals and families with children up to the age of 18. Call 518-943-9205 to register or go to http://www.cagcny.org to apply by December 9th.

The Agency provides health related care management, residential treatment services, emergency assistance, and peer support services targeted to individuals affected by mental illness and substance abuse, homelessness, those and poverty.

Holiday program that helps families in our community who need assistance during the holidays. Families who do not receive any help from family members nor do they receive assistance from any other agency may qualify to be enrolled in one of the programs at FEN.

Provides assistance to families by helping them with clothing and toys for children during the holiday season.

Provides clothing and toys for children of low-income area families. Gifts typically include a couple of items of clothing and two toys.

Manages the Toys for Tots program for families in need who reside in the Deposit Central School District. Low-income children (18 yrs or younger).To register your child call our office at 607-467-4000, or stop in during our office hours, registration begins in November.You must live within the Deposit school district. Be prepared to provide ID and proof of residency, if asked.The child must live with you, and be in your care. They must be 18 years of age or younger.We will ask you for your contact information and the following:The child's nameAgeGenderThree gifts/interests, the total of which equaling no more than $60Pick-up date is December 14, 2024If for whatever reason you cannot make it, and have no one else, call us at least one day before the gift pick up, and we can make arrangements. Angel Tree for children birth -12 years.

Helps in finding housing, clothing, furniture, emergency food, child care, etc. Referral to counseling, self-help groups, social services, legal aid. Offers Thanksgiving assistance. Offers Christmas assistance of family food packages and clothing gifts for children. Represents rural needs on area agency boards and committees.

Offers Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food baskets and Christmas gifts/toys and clothing for children (infant to 18 years). Any low to moderate income Owego residents are welcome to sign up the first two weeks of October for both holiday baskets.

Christmas Basket Sign-Up Information for 2023:

Provides assistance to families by helping them find presents for their children for the holiday season.

Eligibility requirements:
Any individuals and families that meet or fall below 150% of current Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Required Documentation:

• Photo ID for ALL adults in the house
• Birth certificates for ALL children
• Proof if Income for One Month
• Proof of Address
• Proof of Custody/Guardianship (if applicable)

Applicants must have all of the documents listed above or they will not be seen and will be asked to return during another sign-up time.
There will not be any other dates to apply after those listed above. Anyone seeking assistance after November 15th will be referred to another agency.

St. Rose of Lima's Parish Social Ministry offers many groups geared toward support and socialization, such as a food pantry, bereavement groups, Meals on Wheels, Respect Life, etc.

Accepts referrals from local non-profits for families who need help with holiday gifts, and matches these referrals with volunteers who will purchase gifts for the family. This program is a collaboration between Interfaith Caregivers and the Salvation Army of Olean, and clients can contact either organization to be served.
