Provides an opportunity for individuals and organizations to give back by "adopting" a child or family and purchasing toys or clothing items for the holidays. Low income families in need must apply to be recipients of this program. Registration begins in October.

Collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributes those toys to nonprofit organizations for the client families they serve in which the campaign is conducted. The program is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve.Individuals families please contact Suffolk County Social Services. Partners with them to distribute toys to the individual families in need. There is NO requirements to be on any other subsistence program.

Offers support services to community members in financial crisis, including provision of food, pet food, clothing, household items, medical equipment exchange, limited prescription assistance, and medical transportation assistance. Other services include a monthly Mobile Food Pantry (open to anyone), budgeting assistance/financial education, and more. Will work to meet other needs where support is not available in the community. Provides backpacks filled with school supplies each year to low income children, K-6th grade, while supplies last. The Angel Action Holiday Christmas Program provides clothing and gifts for children of all ages through a shopping event open to parents and grandparents.

Lighthouse Mission will be assiting our neighbors in need this Christmas by providing gifts, a family Bible, and prayer for local families. New unwrapped gifts for kids and teens are always needed. Donations accepted by December 19th.

Provides Thanksgiving turkey baskets (no longer available for 2025), Christmas meal baskets (sign ups end November 21st, 2025), and Christmas toys during the holiday season for low-income residents. Gifts will be included with baskets for eligible families with children.

Accepts referrals from local non-profits for families who need help with holiday gifts, and matches these referrals with volunteers who will purchase gifts for the family. This program is a collaboration between Interfaith Caregivers and the Salvation Army of Olean, and clients can contact either organization to be served.

Manages the Toys for Tots program for families in need who reside in the Deposit Central School District. Giac's annual holiday "giving tree" provides gifts for children and teens participating in GIAC programs. Donors choose a tag from the tree with a child's age and gender; purchase a gift and bringing the unwrapped item to GIAC by a specified date.

Toys for Tots' goal is to provide two toys to each child. Orders are filled with the toys we have on board when the order is requested. Organizations must coordinate date and time of toy pickup.
