Provides vocational opportunities to people with disabilities, seeks to maximize their independence and adjustment to the community, offers job placement in a competitive position. Individuals prepare and deliver hot meals, via a mobile unit from TRI, to needy individuals living in supported housing. Documentation of disability and parental consent for individuals under 18 years old required.

Provides list of older adult job seekers 55+ yrs to people seeking personal care, companions, assistance with chores, handyman and homemaking assistance. Long-term, short-term or one-time jobs. Senior helpers are paid by the people requesting the jobs. People interested in hiring are encouraged to screen senior helpers.

Provides a variety of concrete emergency services, such as food and limited financial aid to community members living within parish boundaries. Also provides advocacy, medical transportation (to Farmingdale residents only), employment assistance, resume writing, job searches, job interview coaching, informal counseling and women's support groups. Community Outreach Center provides assistance in finding employment. Career development counselors are on hand to help individuals create a professional resume, and assist a prospective employee develop interviewing skills that showcase his/her aptitudes, experience, and workplace readiness.

ACCESS-VR is a vocational education, job search and other services to eligible individuals with disabilities to enable them to achieve independence through education, training, employment and support.

Serves the community youth by disseminating employment information to any appropriate agency or individual who may supply young people with employment opportunities. Offers preparation for employment program to help youth gather information and learn skills needed to begin making career choices.
