To help individuals remain independent and in the comfort of their own homes, Eddy Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) offers comprehensive in-home healthcare services: home health aides; visiting nurses; specialty nurses, including IV therapy and HIV/AIDS care; physical, occupational and speech therapists; medical social workers; nutritionists; home infusion; home medical equipment and supplies; telehomecare; personal emergency response systems; monitored medication dispensers; palliative care; and wound-ostomy-continence care. Eddy VNA also offers volunteer care to provide non-medical assistance to patients. Our Resident Service Advisor Program helps individuals living in senior apartment complexes find and access the services they need to remain independent in their own homes.

The level of care provided depends on the need, which is outlined below: Home Health Aide (HHA) - Provides assistance with feeding, dressing and bathing. HHA's monitor temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure. Personal Care Aide (PCA) - Provides health care tasks, activities of daily living including personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks essential to the patient's health and other related supportive services. Companion/Homemaker - A program that provides assistance with house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, reading, conversation, grocery shopping, prescription pick-ups and errands. Private Pay Care - Private Pay Care encompasses any of the above services. Contact office for private pay rates if not contracted with your insurance company.
