Infant Program provides services for children birth to approximately twelve-eighteen months with a focus on parent education. Support is given to families to help encourage their child's growth in gross and fine motor, cognition, speech and language, social development and self-help skills. The Toddler Program services children eighteen months to three years of age. Educational activities are designed to promote skills in all areas of development with a focus on special instruction, speech/language, physical and occupational therapy, ABA training, counseling, audiology, nutrition and nursing services. Family training and family support services are also offered. Both programs are in-home or center based. Transportation and in-house library,toys, books, audio visual materials are available.

A Westchester County-sponsored early childhood mental health project and early intervention services for children from infancy through age 4 who are attending eligible childhood programs, including South Yonkers Head Start.

Offers evaluations and works closely with family members, schools and other professionals to ensure that every child receives the highest level of care. The program begins with an evaluations and early intervention which helps infants born with vision loss reach important developmental milestones. Also offers special eye evaluations for elementary school-age children who may show signs of visual impairments.

Provides therapeutic preschool, Universal Pre-Kindergarten (Riverhead School District), and therapeutic services to children ages 2.5 to 5 years. Children with diagnosed disabilities and developmental delays are educated with typically developing peers. Provides evaluation and services in the areas of special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, music therapy, vision therapy, counseling, social work services and psychological services. Consent for evaluation required through school district of residence. Infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years receive in-home evaluations. If eligible, services are provided in natural environments (home/community/day care facilities) through the Early Intervention Program as authorized by Suffolk County Division of Services for Children with Special Needs.

Provides services to children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability, who are determined eligible for service based upon evaluations. Provides evaluations and early intervention for infants and toddlers birth to 3 years with developmental disabilities or delays in the home, at the child care site or at VCLC. Includes physical, occupational, speech, feeding and educational therapies, applied behavior analysis, infant/toddler development groups, family support groups, social work, parent education and counseling services and ongoing service coordination. Provides an early intervention program for children birth-2.ll years. Program is center and home based for children with confirmed or suspected hearing loss and their parents. Offers a fully accredited elementary program recognized by New York State for deaf students. Also offers full after-school extended program including sports and computers. Program includes a mainstream program and alternative multi-handicapped program.

Provides an early intervention program and a preschool which is geared towards children with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities. The program is designed to develop and strengthen social and emotional skills through an integration of clinical and educational curriculum, including physical, occupational and speech therapies.

Provides a multidisciplinary evaluation for children 3-5yrs, a 2 1/2 hour integrated classroom with individual or group therapies. Also provides parent education programs and parent support group.

Independent Living provides a bridge between the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing cultures in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess Counties, this program is actively engaged in community outreach and education, employment, advocacy, service coordination, counseling and technical support.

Services include information and referrals related to raising children, testing for children who may shows signs of delay, along with parent skills classes and parent/child groups. Training and professional development opportunities for child care providers on all aspects of early childhood development, early care and learning.

Provides services at hospital to parents of newly diagnosed infants with Down Syndrome. Offers resources and new baby packets to families, hospital social workers, and neonatal nurses. Trained parent/peer counselors and social workers make hospital and/or home visits. Counseling and Support Groups are available to parents, grandparents and siblings. Offers on site Comprehensive Audiological Services: newborn hearing screening, diagnostic ABR/ASSR, VRA and behavioral audiometry, immitance testing, pediatric hearing aid fitting and programming/BAHA services, pediatric cochlear implant mapping, and device troubleshooting and repair. Offers Infant/Toddler and Preschool Educational Programming, including everyday listening strategies for the home; parent involvement based on auditory verbal principles; natural conversations as the basis of communication; weekly interaction with hearing peers; individualized speech and language therapy services; and integrated programs that include occupational therapy, physical therapy and other related services as needed. Also offers Family Education and Support. Free transportation available.

A voluntary developmental evaluation and services program offered by New York State and administered locally by the Erie County Department of Health. Serves children from birth through 2 years of age and their families where there is a high risk of delay, a suspected delay in development, or a confirmed diagnosis of developmental disability. A variety of therapeutic and support services are offered to eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. Services for eligible children and their families include: - Periodic developmental screening and tracking of at risk children - Service coordination for eligible children and families - Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) - Provision of early intervention services in the IFSP at no cost to parents - Delivery of services in natural settings in the community where children of the same age are typically found, to the maximum extent appropriate
