EARLY INTERVENTION | VARIETY CHILD LEARNING CENTER-SYOSSET
Provides evaluations and early intervention for infants and toddlers birth to 3 years with developmental disabilities or delays in the home, at the child care site or at VCLC. Includes physical, occupational, speech, feeding and educational therapies, applied behavior analysis, infant/toddler development groups, family support groups, social work, parent education and counseling services and ongoing service coordination. Parent/child groups available weekdays and Saturday. Appointment required.

Eligibility
Nassau and Suffolk County residents, children birth to 3 years of age with a documented developmental delay. Children must be approved for services by the Nassau or Suffolk County Department of Health Early Intervention Program.

VARIETY CHILD LEARNING CENTER
Provides early identification, evaluation, remediation and inclusionary opportunities for young children, especially those with learning, language and behavioral problems, including autism. Provides early intervention, preschool and school-age (for children 5-7 years old) special education classes and related services for the children, and respite, counseling and support for their families. Develops programs and provides technical assistance and training for early childhood personnel. Also provides bilingual services, SEIS (Special Education Itinerant Services), ABA services, social skills training groups, Training and Research Center, Early Intervention, Evaluation Center and SCIS (Special Class in an Integrated Setting), Enrichment Programs, and Child Care (6 weeks-5 years old).
