Hudson Valley Cancer Resource Center's website is a navigational tool for patients to locate national, regional and local services in the following areas: Financial Assistance, Co-Pay Assistance, Prescription Assistance, Breast Prostheses, Medical Supplies, Lodging During Treatment, Transportation: Air or Ground, Career and Cancer Assistance, Legal Assistance, and Insurance Assistance.

A free membership program which provides community and hospital discounts, free health screenings and education, newsletters and discounted parking. Computer classes are offered for seniors which includes a courses on computer software and internet training.

Provides various home care services such as visiting nurses, home health aides, social workers with case management, as well as health screenings. Also available is tele-medicine that provides devices that enables self-monitoring and transmit medical data (blood pressure, weight, oxygen levels) via the telephone line to the Tele-medicine nurse for tracking and follow-up.

Provides free, non-emergency air transportation to children and adults who need to access medical care, and are medically stable, but cannot afford to fly commercially. Please note that this is not an air ambulance service.

Provides confidential inpatient chemical dependency detoxification/rehabilitation services for adults 18 and older. Offers education, counseling, and physician supervised medical treatment for recovery from alcoholism and other substance abuse. Licensed by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.

Offers a two hour training session for patients or advocates to help prepare individuals for hospitalization, understand the healthcare system and cope with a medical diagnosis. Call for more information.

Works to enhance the fullness of life for older adults living independently in the community. Provides services to seniors, which would help them remain in their homes, and continue to be a part of their community. Services include friendly visits, companionship assistance, transportation and shopping assistance, spiritual care, health education and counseling, network to community agencies, advocacy for quality care.

Provides long-term, affordable lodging for families with a child who is ill or injured and will be receiving medical treatment, far from home.

Primary Care: Oishei Children's Hospital is dedicated to providing children with access to high quality primary medical care in the city of Buffalo. Special Needs: Primary care clinic for medical, developmental, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities with a multidisciplinary approach to care. The Youth Link Program: Providing primary medical care, specialty care, and case management services for adolescents who are infected with HIV or are at-risk for getting HIV. Pediatric Hospital Service: Responsible for all hospitalized patients whose physicians are not on staff with Oishei Children's Hospital. Provides referral and consultative services as well. Newborn Nursery: Our newborn service is for babies whose physicians are not on staff with Oishei Children's Hospital and for babies who will become patients of Niagara Street Pediatrics or Towne Gardens Pediatrics.

Helps families improve the health and mental health care services they receive for their children by providing case management services that address barriers parents may encounter and provide support navigating the maze of systems.

Federally Qualified Health Center offering OB/GYN, social work, and nutritional counseling. Serves all populations with special focuses on the medically under-insured, uninsured, and those experiencing homelessness. Also provides free walk-in pregnancy testing, onsite lab, ultrasound, STD testing, health education/groups, blood pressure screening, transportation, and referral assistance. Provides medical, mental health and massage therapy services to adults with HIV/AIDS. Also offers counseling, outpatient, nutrition, housing, legal and social support services. A satellite Center of Southampton Hospital.

Evaluates and treats children with allergic diseases that include: allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, and eczema. A nurse specialist and social worker provide counseling.
