Helps communities of color to access healthcare by providing linkage to medical care and supportive services, along with one-on-one solution based counseling. Helps clients to set and meet wellness goals. Provides sexual health education to groups and individuals and offers rapid 20 minute HIV and Hep C testing, as well as STI testing on site. Long-term prevention counseling is provided for those who are HIV positive or those at high risk of becoming infected. Issues covered include substance abuse, mental health, treatment adherence, sexual risk behavior, and linkage to other services as needed. Nutrition services offered: On-site food pantry offering a three-day supply of food for eligible community members in the 14215 zip code. Our Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) Coordinator offers free, confidential one-on-one help with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/food stamps).
