Players attending T.B.S.T. events will work exclusively with experienced collegiate coaches as well as sports performance and sports medicine staff members. T.B.S.T. also conducts a variety of events throughout the year. Each year, we provide a minimum of four ID Clinic opportunities for high school age, JUCO, and collegiate transfer female soccer players to be exposed to a competitive, collegiate environment and evaluated by a Division I coaching staff. T.B.S.T. conduct three types of girls summer camp programs:(1) Young Stars (2) Advanced Full Day and (3) Senior Elite. Our Young Stars summer program is designed for beginner level players ages 5-7 yrs old just getting started with the sport of soccer. The Advanced Full Day program is designed for intermediate youth players ages 8-13 yrs old that want to develop their technical and tactical skills in a fun but challenging learning environment. Our Senior Elite summer program works exclusively with advanced 14-16 yr old soccer players playing at the highest level of youth soccer (ECNL, GA, National League PRO, etc.) with instruction from collegiate and professional coaches. The MV-285 allows students with a NYS Junior Permit to schedule a road test, receive their senior license at the age of 17 instead of 18, and may be eligible for a rate reduction in their automobile insurance. This program consists of 25.5 hours of classroom instruction and 25.5 hours of behind the wheel training and observation. Effective July 1, this course will be offered in-person, on the Ammerman Campus in Selden. Please note that XDT100 and XDT200 are corequisites and must be taken together and successfully completed to obtain the MV-285. Throughout the week, campers will refine existing skills, learn new skills, and work on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. This is a popular pre-season program to fine tune skills before tryouts and the fall season. All campers will be grouped by age, size and ability, through the evaluation of the coaching staff. Contact will be introduced using a progressive methodology that focuses on technical proficiency and the “Heads Up” methods. Players will be taught to enhance their skills and technique, while also improving their strength and speed & agility, enabling the campers to play their position with proficiency. Our experienced coaching staff of collegiate coaches and players will work closely with the campers to ensure a safe and fun environment. The kids will not be in pads all day, so we introduce fun games and competitions; flag football, pass/punt/kick, mini combines, etc. There are numerous water breaks throughout the day and we have an additional athletic trainer on-hand for this program. Oasis at LIU Post utilizes the incredible collection of indoor and outdoor facilities located on the Post campus, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dining hall, an indoor swimming facility, and a state-of-the-art theater to create an amazing summer experience for our campers. These wonderful facilities feature lush fields, natural woodlands, and horseback riding trails, to complement our curriculum which includes arts and crafts, cooking, dance, sports and games, nature, swimming, and so much more. Sample Programs include: Early Start Program for Ages 3 To 5; Lower Camp Program for 1st And 2nd Grade; Upper Camp Program for 3rd To 5th Grade; Junior Teen Travel for 6th And 7th Grade; Teen Travel for 8th To 11th Grade and C.I.T. Provides a perfect blend of sports, recreational activities, and team building for campers of all ages and skill levels in grades 3-10 (co-ed). Ideal for campers looking for less individual sports training and more social, “fun and games,” with peers of a similar age. Our energetic and experienced staff is comprised of coaches, teachers and collegiate students and athletes, with a passion for sports. They cultivate an environment that prioritizes self-esteem, commitment, sportsmanship, leadership skills and friendships that we hope will last a lifetime. With the different age groups rotating between 6 to 8 sports and activities per day, pre-planned by our director, there’s always something exciting going on in our most popular program. Special weekly events bring an extra element of excitement for all age groups and occasionally we hold inter-camp challenges that create fun rivalries between the programs. All programs run weekly from Monday to Friday and camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Extended Hours are available with Early Drop-Off (8am) and Late Pick-Up (5:30pm) options. Additional charges apply.
