SUSTAINABLE DESIGN AND RENEWABLE ENERGY CERTIFICATE | NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Offers a Certificate in Sustainable Design and Renewable Energy which is geared to all students interested in gaining a broad understanding of different topics in sustainable design and renewable energy. The certificate program will be taught by professionals in the field, including professional engineers and registered architects. The knowledge gained by the students in this program will aid them in procuring jobs in the green industry, in such fields as engineering, construction, financial, marketing, sales, maintenance, and many more. The sustainable design principles that students will learn in this program will allow them to better understand methods used worldwide by diverse populations. Students graduating with this certificate could also continue on and seek certification by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) and become a Green Associate. Call for more detailed information.

Nassau Community College is the largest single-campus community college in the state of New York. On average Nassau Community serves 20,000 day and evening students in 70 fields of study and another 10,000 individuals participated in continuing and professional studies each year.
