Program provides assistance in securing rights and obtaining services from other agencies for victims of domestic violence.

Serves survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence ages 16 and older and their dependent children. Anyone feeling unsafe in a relationship can call or chat using the confidential hotline, operated by trained, compassionate staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide information and support. Services provided include confidential domestic violence shelter, supportive counseling, legal and court advocacy, assistance obtaining orders of protection, safety planning, parenting after violence service, education and support groups, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing. This series uses a trauma-informed care model in a group setting to cover parenting issues and symptomology related to custody, separation/divorce, co-parenting, parallel parenting, foster care placements, etc. Also provides community trainings to inform and educate Western New Yorkers to recognize the signs of domestic violence and to better understand different forms of abuse. Provides Niagara County domestic violence victims access to services and entry into the criminal justice system through early intervention to provide the safety and support. Every Domestic Incident Report filed with law enforcement agencies is acted upon shortly after an incident occurs. The Victim Services Coordinator and Crime Victim Advocates provide support and advocacy which includes: - Safety planning - Danger Assessment - Referrals to appropriate services - Court accompaniment - Meetings with District Attorney staff - Assistance in obtaining Orders of Protection

Provides assistance with filing Family Offense Petitions to obtain an Order of Protection, assistance filing Custody and Support Petitions, a 24-hour hotline, accompaniment to court, law enforcement agencies, or hospital, personal advocacy, safe house, safety planning, support groups, individual counseling, and information and referral to community resources. Also offers safe house temporarily shelter for individuals in a domestic violence situation.

Provides Office of Victim Services claim compensation and assistance, court advocacy, community referrals, and other coordinated services as needed to victims of crime. All services are free and confidential.

Program provides help to victims of crime through a variety of services. Assists with filing New York State Office of Victim Services compensation claims for reimbursement of out of pocket expenses related to the crime, including funeral expenses, medical/counseling expenses, loss of earnings, and/or loss of essential personal property. In Wyoming County ONLY, offers a dual Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence program, which provides the Non-Shelter Domestic Violence Services as well as the sexual assault services listed above. Domestic violence services include hotline, counseling, court accompaniment, assistance with obtaining orders of protection, and referrals for safe housing.

The Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVSS) provides assistance to victims of all types of crime. Services include 24 hour hotline, rape crisis accompaniment, rape crisis services, advocacy, counseling, support groups, and forensic nursing services for women, men, and children. CVSS advocates are now available by chat to offer information, advocacy, and support to individuals who have been impacted by violence.

Provides in-person and phone advocacy for victims of domestic violence residing within all seven Suffolk County Police Precincts. Advocates provide safety planning, precinct, court and hospital accompaniment and referrals, Staff Attorney available for custody, child support and visitation and Orders Of Protection.
