Provides mental health services to active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve forces, and veterans who have separated or retired from any branch of military service. Also serves family members and loved one of those who have served in the military.Mental health professionals commit to provide free care for a minimum of one hour per week for one year. Clients are not required to provide insurance information or any other form of payment for the services rendered from Give an Hour volunteer mental health professionals. While Give an Hour is not a crisis service and does not offer emergency help, our providers can help in the following areas: Individual Services, Marital Services, Family Services, Group Counseling, Child and Adolescent Services, Parent Guidance, Post-Traumatic Street, Alcohol/Chemical Dependency, Pastoral Counseling, Grief and Loss, Traumatic Brain Injury, Anger Management, Anxiety, Separation/Divorce, and Sexual Abuse.To access Give an Hour services please visit www.giveanhour.org and select "Get Help" and fill out the criteria. Veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person or are homebound, may be eligible for additional monetary payment.
