Plans, coordinates and evaluates the activities of public, private and nonprofit agency services devoted to youth under age 21 within the town. To accomplish this, the Youth Bureau finds three community-based youth service agencies. They provide counseling, tutoring, mentoring, job readiness, after school program, leadership programs, volunteer activities, drop-in lounge, open gyms and summer day and evening programs. The Youth Bureau also oversees the Islip Town Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs. Room 312.

All teachers are New York State certified. Classes run for 2 1/2 hours with two sessions every weekday. Enrichment program for 4 year olds. Two, three, and five day programs are available.
