LONG ISLAND HEAD START

Provides comprehensive developmental and day care services to 3-5 year old children from low-income families in centers throughout Suffolk County. Also provides services to families of children under 3 and pregnant women through Early Head Start. Specific education, health and social services, objectives focus on cognitive and intellectual development, physical and mental health, as well as nutritional needs of the child.
