Provides crisis prevention and response services to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or complex behavioral/mental health needs, their families and caregivers with the goal of enabling individuals to remain in their home or community. Offers needs assessment develops and individualized crisis plan, recommends preventive and coping strategies for families/caregivers and provides referrals to appropriate agencies. Provides short-term therapeutic in-home supports, therapeutic emergency and planned Resource Center services for enrolled individuals. Provides consultation, training and technical assistance to community partners and organizations.

Project Veterans' Independence is a Catholic Charities program partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Our goal is to place homeless veterans into permanent housing and help them live independently within their communities while offering counseling and access to support services.
