Provides acute, intense, short-term, inpatient psychiatric treatment to adolescents ages 12-17. Aims to achieve rapid stabilization to make possible ongoing treatment in a less restrictive setting. A variety of behavioral and emotional problems are treated including: anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders and other disruptive behavior disorders, mood disorders including major depression, bipolar disorders and psychotic disorders. Provides education and clinical services for children with disabilities ages 3-5. Clinical services include speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychology and social work.

Places trained providers in the home to provide rest and relief for the caregiver.

We offer IEP-based Occupational and Physical Therapy services including evaluations, individual and group therapy and consultation with treatment team members and family. We serve adult participants though our Article 16 Clinic. Occupational therapy services promote functional abilities and engagement in daily routines. Occupational therapists may asses an individual's ability to perform ADL's and develop adaptions in order for the participant to be successful and the MOST independent in eating, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene. OT services also focus on sensory integration, play/leisure skills, gross and fine motor skills, prevocational /vocational skills, social interaction skills and psychosocial issues. Physical Therapy services provide support for students so they may more fully participate in the curriculum and the school day routine. services focus on the impact the the physical disability has on classroom performance rather than on the disability itself. Physical Therapists work on addressing balance, gait, motor planning, posture, navigating and accessing school environment, strength, and endurance.

Provide residential services which include skills training, recreation, and volunteer opportunities. Documentation of developmental disabilities required.

Provides residential care, respite and service coordination for adults and children. Offers foster residential placement for developmentally disabled adults.

Offers fully accredited high school program for Deaf adolescents a work/study experience program which is community based a mainstream program with neighboring public schools and an alternative high school program.

Provides Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) for the mentally developmentally disabled, in a family homelike atmosphere in a community setting. The population of these facilities range in age and profound to moderate in functioning level. Both males and females. Facilities throughout New York City and Long Island.

Offers day habilitation programs to promote independence and productivity through participation in meaningful activities and volunteer experiences Programs are located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Clinical support in nursing and psychology are available as well as creative arts personnel to provide art and music activities . Program without walls focuses on people who require fewer supports and/or would benefit from an alternative setting.

Provides recreational activities for children and young adults with a disability who require minimal supervision. Referral required.

Provides Saturday recreation program for autistic children through 12 teaching them leisure skills and giving respite opportunity (at the same time) for their families

Provides audiological services to children birth to adults in communities across Long Island. Services are offered on a fee-for-service basis. Financial grants and sliding scale are available.

Provides continuing education through meetings, support groups, and resource materials for children and adults affected by attention deficit disorders.

Provides a toy lending and resource center for families of children (birth-15 years of age) with disabilities. Provides an extensive library of toys (conventional and adapted), therapeutic equipment and books for parents and children to borrow for one month.

Provides mentally and developmentally disabled adults with independent living skills instruction and money management strategies. Offers health and wellness groups, relaxation techniques, speech and physical therapy. Provides assistance in community integration. Conducts needs assessment, treatment and discharge planning and medical referrals.

Provides service dogs to be matched with adults, children ages 18+ or veterans with a disabilities other than blindness; and facility dogs for professional therapists/health care workers to use in animal-assisted therapy programs within hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers or other such institutions.
