Provides comprehensive care to cystic fibrosis patients from infancy to adulthood. Offers a holistic and family focused approach to patient care with an emphasis on promoting normal physical and emotional growth and development. Goals include slowing the progression of the disease, prevention and treatment of complications and helping the patients integrate the disease and strenuous medical treatments into daily life. Provides a home care program. Parent support groups are available on a as needed basis.

Offers parenting workshops, anger management, creative arts workshops, social skills program and junior and teen leadership opportunities. Program is open to all but targets those affected by divorce, separation, alcohol, drug abuse, violence. Staff include licensed social workers, family specialists, special ed teachers, child and youth care workers, performing artists, and trained facilitators. Approved for court mandated clients.

Provides residential services to developmentally disabled individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors. These homes are located on both the main campus in Smithtown and DDI's Huntington Campus. Children in residence attend Developmental Disabilities Institute Day School and then return to their residence where supervised recreation and daily living activities continue. Program operates 365 days per year

Provides a place where youth can gather to socialize and interact with peers. Activities include table games, movies, wii games, refreshments, etc. The lounge is under the supervision of a professional staff member.

Provides full day outdoor programs of hiking and wilderness challenges for at risk adolescents. Groups travel by van to State and County Parks. Call for further information.

Encourages youth to establish a good work ethic through employment and workshops. Promotes punctuality, teamwork, how to follow rules and regulations, as well as respect of self, co-workers and supervisors. At- risk youth are selected between the ages of 14-18. Interviews are held in May and orientation in June. Employment is seven weeks, Monday-Friday. Worksites are established within the community at local churches, schools, agencies, parks and beaches. Workshops are given throughout the program in areas such as Banking, Job Attitudes, Career Goals, Job Interviewing and Resume Writing. Offers biblical teaching to teens ages 13-18 on relevant topics along with games, music, snacks and fellowship. Parental consent is required for special functions.

Offers multidisciplinary treatment to children and adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa . Provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and plans individualized treatment program. Offers outpatient treatment involving professional patient monitoring nutritional counseling and individual and family psychotherapy. Also offers in-patient treatment, where appropriate, involving intensive treatment in a highly structured environment and a day program attended by patients 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, with treatment intensity comparable to treatment of hospitalized patients. Treatment approach addresses the biopsychosocial needs of patients.
