Chautauqua Microenterprise Loan Fund and the Women and Minority Microenterprise Loan Fund Programs help small businesses by providing small business start up and expansion loans. The small business incubator offers small businesses an opportunity to grow and stabilize with subsidies around rent, business services, and technical assistance. Provides training, technical assistance mentoring and professional development to schools and educational agencies on behalf of children and young adults, ages 0-21, who are deaf-blind. Also offers networking, resources, information and referral as well as support for families and professionals working with the deaf-blind.

Provides assistance to Child Care Providers by helping them develop their Health Care Plans that describe how they will meet the requirements and standards set by New York State with regards to health policies and medication. After preparation of the Health Care Plan, a site visit is made to ensure compliance with the plan and to verify administration in their program. Health Services is presently made up of two Registered Nurses (RNs) who are Health Care Consultants. Both are trained as Medication Administration Training (MAT) instructors and provide the 8 hour required program at Child Care Council of Nassau.The department actively develops, prepares and presents educational programs for child care providers, both at the Child Care Council of Nassau and at individual programs. The Health Care Consultants field many technical assistance phone calls and act as a source of information and guidance in caring for the health needs of all children in child care. Works with area agencies to research and analyze public and private funding sources, analyze RFPs to fit their programs, reviews written proposals, facilitates planning processes and grant applications, holds grant development trainings and consultations and provides strategic planning consultation.

Provides advocacy, referral services, daily living skills and mobility training, low vision exams, and education on available financial and living aid assistance.
