Focuses on creating asset development opportunities for both residents and entrepreneurs. Assists individuals in growing and investing in their communities by providing lending capital, training, consulting, technical assistance, seminars, workshops, and low-cost business rental space to new and existing businesses that would otherwise lack access to these services. Assists area residents in developing asset based thinking by providing financial literacy training, basic budgeting, and home appliance loans to combat predatory lenders.
Loan programs and Cottage Industry Assistance Program target low to moderate income existing and prospective individuals.
Chautauqua Microenterprise Loan Fund and the Women and Minority Microenterprise Loan Fund Programs help small businesses by providing small business start up and expansion loans.
The small business incubator offers small businesses an opportunity to grow and stabilize with subsidies around rent, business services, and technical assistance.
Program site serves as a Warming Center during times of excessive cold and as a Cooling Center during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Warming/Cooling Center is open before going there.

CODI is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and small business growth by providing training, technical assistance, and access to loan
capital—particularly for microenterprises that are unable to obtain traditional financing. Our clients often face significant barriers such as limited credit history, insufficient collateral, or a lack of business experience.
CODI addresses these challenges through robust technical assistance, including:
- Business Loans and Lines of Credit to new and existing businesses to help with equipment, inventory and operating expenses. CODI offers both Micro (up to $5,000) and Term ($5,000 - $50,000) products.
- Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP) grants up to $25,000 to businesses in partnership with the Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth.

Provides assistance to Child Care Providers by helping them develop their Health Care Plans that describe how they will meet the requirements and standards set by New York State with regards to health policies and medication. After preparation of the Health Care Plan, a site visit is made to ensure compliance with the plan and to verify administration in their program. Health Services is presently made up of two Registered Nurses (RNs) who are Health Care Consultants. Both are trained as Medication Administration Training (MAT) instructors and provide the 8 hour required program at Child Care Council of Nassau.The department actively develops, prepares and presents educational programs for child care providers, both at the Child Care Council of Nassau and at individual programs. The Health Care Consultants field many technical assistance phone calls and act as a source of information and guidance in caring for the health needs of all children in child care.
