Conducts telephone screenings to determine Cortland County residents' eligibility for the SNAP (food stamps) program.After screening, the outreach specialist recommends the best application process for the client, including face-to-face meetings, apply by mail, online application or direct referral to the Department of Social Services with a list of required documents.
Provides a safe space for for LGBTQ youth to gather and receive support from caring adults through case management services, HIV, STD and Hepatitis C testing, mental health assessments, referrals for LGBTQ affirming clinical services, and referrals to LGBTQ affirming health and human service providers. ITU is a union by and for the tenants of Ithaca, to protect tenant rights and advance tenant collective power. It offers help with tenancy issues and has a helpline where volunteer tenants with experience can offer solidarity and limited support. It has an Upstate NY Tenant's Rights Guide (https://www.ithacatu.org/rights) available online. It also advocates for public policy that protects tenants.

An outreach program to help improve and maintain personal health and environmental living conditions. The goal of the program is to promote healthy neighborhoods by keeping residents aware of the variety of medical, social and environmental services available to them locally. Outreach staff visit residents, at the residents request, an inspection of their home is also performed to be sure that no environmental health hazards or problems exist. If environmental health hazards or problems do exist, our staff will direct them to the agency best able to help.

Driving Towards Resilience program provides neighborhood and community based services for individuals living in Rockland and Westchester Counties through behavioral health mobile units.
