ADRC plays an important role in educating Long Island’s caregivers.  Both professional caregivers who work in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, and individual family members who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s, benefit from increased knowledge and practical training exercises.

Provides case management and case assessment, support groups, music, art, and Equine Therapy programs and advocacy for patients, their families and caregivers, conferences and workshops, educational material, referrals to respite care, and speakers bureau. Encourages and supports medical research and provides education to general public and professionals.
