Mosquito Control Program is a comprehensive program that employs larval mosquito control, mosquito surveillance, public education, and sanitary code enforcement with the goal of reducing the mosquito population within Rockland County.

Provides access to medications, health care and insurance continuation for persons living in New York State with HIV/AIDS, who are uninsured or under insured. Covered services include AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), Primary Care, Home Care Services and Insurance Premium payment assistance.

Processes applications for a variety of health insurance programs including Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Family Health Plus (FHP), and Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP), Family Planning Benefits Program (FPBP), Baby/Adult Diaper Assistance, Medicaid Buy-In for Working People with Disabilities (MBI-WPD), and the Medicare Savings Program (MSP). Also provides transportation for Medicaid recipients requiring Medicaid-covered services.

Vaccine and vaccine-preventable diseases. International travelers health information and cruise ship scores. Workplace safety and health. Toxic or environmental exposure. * Provides information about the Zika Virus. Including transmission, onset and symptoms of the disease. Testing is available to individuals who have recently been to areas affected by Zika.

Provides health information and referrals through telephone counseling by registered nurses. Call for free health information or assistance including free health information, physician and service referrals, program registration information, disease management assistance, post-discharge support for patients and families, pre-procedure instructions for diagnostic testing, follow-up for health screens and post-discharge care management for open-heart patients, including patient education and assistance with medications.
