The Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Program offers supports to CYSHCN and their families by providing timely and appropriate information and referrals to insurance, health services, and community resources to address their identified needs. The program is available to families with children and youth, ages 0 to 21, who have a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional condition and may require health & related services.

LawHelpNY is a legal information internet portal covering all of NYS, providing referral information to all the free legal services available covering 11 areas of law. Offers a library of more than 4,000 legal fact sheets on civil legal issues including housing foreclosures, evictions and landlord-tenant issues, divorce, consumer protection, debt, immigration rights and more. Also provides LiveHelp, an online chat option staffed by trained volunteers who can provide legal referrals. Program offers free legal information only, not legal advice. Offers information in a variety of formats, phone, print and online to anyone seeking information on kidney or urinary diseases, treatments, research or links to local community resources.

Provides outreach, education, and advocacy to farmworker women who are victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence, Stalking, and Dating Violence. Also works to enhance improve access to services for farmworker victims who face numerous obstacles when accessing currently available services and resources, shelter and non-shelter services alike for domestic violence issues.

Provides information on recycling, and answer questions of what can be thrown out with the garbage, and if not , how and where to drop-off specific materials.

Offers information to individuals with disabilities and their families to access community resources.

Offers a toll free line that state residents can call to find resources within their own county, that offer free cancer screenings for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer, for those that qualify.

Provides information and possible referrals based on the situation and needs of each person.

Provides a food pantry for Veterans, the Military and their families, and families in need. LI Cares hosts Military Appreciation Tuesdays in Huntington Station, Lindenhurst, and Freeport which gives veterans and their families access to food, personal care items, household products, pet food, and school supplies. Also veterans are provided with information and resources pertaining to veteran specific benefits. LI Cares also operates a Mobile Pantry which delivers nutritious groceries to homebound, disabled veterans unable to access their local pantries.

Provides care to multiple sclerosis patients and their families including diagnostic services, on-going assessment and management, physical therapy, counseling and resource and referral services.

Provides services for adults and children with a mental health diagnosis and/or chronic medical conditions, including linkage to needed resources and coordination of services to assist clients with reaching their goals.
