Families of a child, ages birth up to 21 years of age, diagnosed with a life threatening illness. The child must be a citizen of the U.S.(or legal resident) and live in one of 22 counties serviced in NY, NJ and CT.

Description

Provides support services for families caring for a child with cancer or another life-threatening illness and emotional support (e.g., home/hospital visits, education about applying for government or other programs, holiday and back-to-school gift programs, sibling support specialists), financial assistance (e.g., travel reimbursement, hospital lodging, co-payment for illness-related expenses, basic living expenses assistance), advocacy action (e.g., with hospital staff, insurance providers, schools, etc.)
