Provides daily recreational opportunities for local youth ages 7 to 15 years, from a number of city neighborhoods. Drop-in recreation is free of charge and includes a variety of fun, engaging activities. Some programs may have limited space and may required advanced registration.

Also offers programming at the Butternut Policing Center at Schiller Park, an after school program at Edward Smith School, the Northeast Community Center, and the Southwest Community Center.

This program provides a safe space for teenage students to gather and socialize in a safe environment. This space was created by teens for teens. Junbo games like Jenga, Uno, Dominoes, and Connect Four are available along with video games, television and entertainment. Teens will receive snack and drinks. Teens are asked to donate $1 towards an event that they will facilitate.

Open to children ages 4-12 during non-school hours; provides adult supervision and is open most school holidays including early release days and snow days. Activities include homework help, arts and crafts, field trips, special events, and use of a billiards room, game room, lounge and computer lab. Children ages 4-6 participate in the Funland Program. JYC may be available through the Ken-Ton Transportation Department. Request form required for alternate transportation.

Provides a safe, supervised location for youth to gather free of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Offers community service opportunities, field trips, pool tournaments, and other activities.
Provides a year-round program for children ages 5 to 12 years focused on social competencies, educational support, and positive values. Activities are developed to enhance cognitive and large and small motor skill development. Activities include help with homework, field trips, group activities, and a summer program. Children are assigned to age appropriate groups. Summer day camp participation is based on attendance during the school-year program.

A collaboration with O.C.A.D.A. A substance-free performance program run by teens, for teens. Ages 13-18. Weekly planning meetings held every Tuesday night at Nyack Center at 5:30. This is a free program.
Provides a safe space for middle school youth to socialize. Volunteer opportunities are available. Program is open to middle school students all over Long Island.

Focuses on bringing together small groups of children and teens so that they can learn to interact appropriately with others their own age and practice important life skills. The program runs in 8 week sessions. Topics include: conversation skills, making and keeping friends, body language, social cues, problem solving, cooperation, frustration and tolerance, anger management, self-esteem, and managing stress.
Provides after-school activities for teens during the school week, including hockey, tennis and basketball. Teen lounge is on Thursday evenings and Saturday evenings. There are monthly outings and discussion groups. Call for further information.
