A 20-bed program providing stabilization services in a residential setting to men and women over 18, targeting individuals in need of medically supervised detoxification services; individuals experiencing mild withdrawal or significant urges for illicit substances that cannot be managed in an outpatient setting; and/or individuals who need residential care.

This 14-16 month program is made up of three phases. During the Crisis Phase, which lasts 6-8 weeks, individuals live in home-like atmospheres, sharing work assignments and are introduced to curriculum, Bible Studies, and Christian lifestyles. In the Induction Phase, which runs 4-5 months, students complete the 14 Group Studies for New Christians' and Character Quality classes. During this phase discipline and order are taught through the development and application of Christian Principles. Upon completion of the Induction Phase, male students complete the program at either the Long Island Center or the Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania where they continue Bible Studies, attend workshops, and are provided vocational training opportunities. Female students continue the program at the main site Ladies Residence.

Offers a holistic rehabilitative environment for young men ages 16 to 20 years with a substance abuse diagnosis; offers Equine Assisted Therapy.

* Administers residential support for 23 women and up to 5 children who need stable housing while attending outpatient drug treatment.

Provides a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. Residents spend an average of six to nine months living in the facilities, while they attend narcotic and alcoholics anonymous meetings as well as individual and group counseling. Residents also work in the thrift store by overseeing inventory and serving as cashiers.

A 35-bed chemical dependence 24 hour residential stabilization center offering Suffolk County adults in crisis due to substance abuse a safe environment in which a person may stabilize withdrawal symptoms, severe cravings, psychiatric and medical symptoms before referral and transition to another program of structured treatment/recovery

A halfway house for adult women with chemical dependency problems that supports and solidifies their recovery process so they can return to independent living. The following treatment services are available: alcoholism and substance abuse counseling individual, group and family counseling vocational evaluation, education, and training parenting skills training legal and financial assistance and linkage to remedial education and GED preparation relapse prevention and education and psycho-educational groups: smoking cessation education, anger management and women's issues. DYC’s Fresh Start program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). Fresh Start is an outpatient program for adolescents aged 12 – 17, and includes group, individual, and family counseling as well as educational services.
