A halfway house for adult women with chemical dependency problems that supports and solidifies their recovery process so they can return to independent living. The following treatment services are available: alcoholism and substance abuse counseling individual, group and family counseling vocational evaluation, education, and training parenting skills training legal and financial assistance and linkage to remedial education and GED preparation relapse prevention and education and psycho-educational groups: smoking cessation education, anger management and women's issues. Mercy Medical Center is a 375-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center which serves the residents of Nassau County with a variety of medical and surgical specialties.
