The SCIPP team services the City of Syracuse, as part of 911 diversion, by providing proactive support as well as crisis de-escalation and harm reduction services for those experiencing mental health and/or substance use emergencies, as well as connecting clients to other services/resources. SCIPP also provides training and support, including the distribution of harm reduction materials, to businesses in the City of Syracuse.

The SCIPP team is "mobile," meaning that they will come to you. SCIPP dispatch times vary from 10-30 minutes.

Provides 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when a victim of rape, domestic/family violence, or elder abuse is identified. Services include crisis intervention, support, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. Individual therapy is available to victims of sexual violence. Implements Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Programs throughout Erie County. Satellite offices are located at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office. Speakers and trainers are available. Advocates are also co-located at various college campuses across Erie County.

The Mobile Crisis Team is a team of Licensed Mental Health Professionals, Support Staff, and Peer / Family Advocates available to any Chautauqua County resident experiencing a mental health crisis or distress during non-business hours. The Mobile Crisis Team provides access to Licensed Mental Health Professionals for telephone and/or face to face mental health assessment and crisis intervention, resolution of crisis in the least restrictive setting and least intrusive manner possible, prevention of unnecessary emergency department (ED) visits, and linkage to appropriate community mental health resources for ongoing treatment and stabilization. Monitoring services are also provided for up to 72 hours for individuals who have been released from mental health hospital stays. Also offers mental health training for community organizations and mental health professionals.

Walk-in center for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and in need of immediate help. Provides immediate crisis support, medication evaluation, and psychiatric and counseling resources. The Help Center may be visited up to 3 times to bridge the gap between services.
