Provides an outpatient/inpatient clinic to help adults and children struggling with mental or emotional problems. Services include evaluation/screening, diagnostic and treatment planning services for people who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems, individual, group and family therapy, also crisis intervention.

Essex County Mental Health (ECMH) provides support through information and referral for children and adults whose emotional disabilities disrupt their capacity to function. ECMH helps individuals or families to identify the needs and refers them to resources and services for mental health, medicine, socialization, education, financial, transportation, respite, family support and other services.
