Provides a number of support services for anyone who is a victim of labor or sex trafficking. Services include confidential emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, court assistance and accompaniment, safety for pets left behind, transportation, translation and referrals to other services or resources that will be needed. Also provides multilingual and culturally focused services for members of the African American, Asian, Haitian, Latino, Jewish/Orthodox, and LGBTQ communities.

In person support group where individuals with disabilities can socialize, share their concerns, and solve problems with their peers. Meets on the last Thursday of the month from 1pm-3pm.

OnTrackNY helps these individuals achieve their goals for school, work and relationships. Individuals will have access to a Psychiatrist, Nurse, Therapist, Peer Specialist and Education and Employment Specialist when enrolled in OnTrackNY.

Provides age appropriate primary prevention programs to schools and youth groups (K-12) focuses on refusal skills, conflict management, character building, life skills, drug education, decision making, and problem solving skills. Offers a therapeutic/residential setting for students ages 12-21 with classifications of autism, emotional disturbance, or health impairment. Westbrook Preparatory School is the first residential New York State Regents junior/senior high school for students with Asperger syndrome, high functioning autism and related conditions who require intensive support in a year-round school setting. Offers a therapeutic, residential experience integrated with an academic program individually attuned to each student’s unique strengths and challenges. Teaches independence while preparing them for post-secondary education, employment and life in the community. Day students may be referred by their school districts.

Primarily a family support and advocacy organization, FAMH strives to expand opportunities and improve the quality of life for all people with mental illness. FAMH provides referrals, education, and mutual support for families as well as social, recreational, and educational opportunities for consumers of mental health services. FAMH also strives through public education, to eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness.

Victim-centered, compassionate medical and forensic care in a private setting for rape and sexual assault survivors. Free physical examination with an injury assessment, collection of forensic evidence and appropriate prophylaxis medications provided by specially trained medical professionals. Victim Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS) will provide accompaniment by a rape crisis counselor for emotional support during the exam and follow-up by the SANE Liaison for counseling resources, medical and legal advocacy.

Provides group and individual counseling services in Spanish for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault/rape, human trafficking, elder abuse, and veterans.

Staff development training in schools and youth-serving organizations. Training curricula offer skills and resources for clinicians, teachers and administrators to end bullying, homophobia and violence in schools and our communities.

Offers a residential program for children with autism spectrum disorder ,and/or multiple disabilities to include autism that incorporates Applied Behavioral Analysis teaching methods and positive behavior supports. Programming focuses on life skills recreation and leisure skills, household living; with opportunities for participation in Special Olympics Events. Housing placement is based on age and level of functioning. Family outings day and home visits are encouraged.

Diagnostic and Treatment Center offers primary medical services as well as psychiatric and psychological, podiatry, physical, speech and occupational therapy, audiology, dental, dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology, neurology, nutrition, optometry, and physiatry to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, mental illness, those who have been dually diagnosed and/or those with traumatic brain injury.

Access is a hotline with trained counselors who can speak with callers going through mental health issues, personal crisis, who need someone to talk to about depression, or are having family difficulties. The Access hotline can dispatch counselors to respond on location to access the crisis, develop a follow up plan, and stay involved to make sure the plan is carried out. The Compeer Homeless Program matches individuals who have a mental illness and reside in shelters, in a one-to-one relationship with the Compeer Homeless Coordinator.

Offers individual and group treatment to significant others and other loved ones of people suffering from substance use disorder disease. The parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, or child of an individual suffering with the effects of addiction are welcome to receive these supportive services.

Provides crisis counseling hotline service to people of all ages who need help with suicide prevention, mental health, and drug/alcohol related information, referrals, and counseling. This free, confidential service also provides back-up support for ongoing Reach clients.
