Survivor hotline is available to survivors, their families, and allies who need a sympathetic person to talk to-often when therapeutic services are unavailable. The hotline is answered by survivors of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Does not accept tips.

Provides educational services for children with language and autism spectrum disorders in grades 9-12. Also offers speech language therapy, counseling, psychological services, rehabilitative services, vocational services, parent training and school health and nursing services.

Provides outpatient mental health services including individual, marital, family, parent, and group therapy; depression and anxiety counseling; psychiatric assessment and treatment; medication management and provision; crisis intervention and case management; specialized programs in stress management; domestic violence intervention for victims and perpetrators; and trauma recovery.

Provides inpatient mental health care. Short-term, crisis care psychiatric hospitalization is provided for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal thoughts, and other mental illness. Stabilization of the presenting psychiatric crisis is followed by a collaborative discharge plan using supportive outpatient services. Specialized Programs include: Child and Adolescent, Adult, Women's and Men's Programming, Dual Diagnosis/MICA Treatment (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), Holistic Treatment Options (Yoga, Massage, Tai-Chi, Drumming, Pastoral Care), Alternative Therapies and Support (Pet Therapy, Art Therapy, Peer Support, etc) and more. In addition, also offers an Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program which provides safe, evidence-based treatment for severe mental health conditions. Coordinates with the Chautauqua County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team to respond to child physical and sexual abuse cases to reduce trauma to children and non-offending family members and stewards of children. Offers a prevention and response training for adults. Provides trauma counseling and problematic sexual behavior counseling for children 17 and under.

Provides comprehensive treatment, recovery, and support services for individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use challenges. Services offered include individual and group counseling, medical and psychiatric care, family support coordination, addiction medicine consultations, opiate overdose prevention training, recovery coaching and peer support services, care coordination, community outreach and education, harm reduction services, a therapy dog program, and more. Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering pediatrics, internal medicine/family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatric and adult dental services, podiatry, social work, nutritional counseling, medications for opioid use disorder, and pharmacy with home delivery. Serves all populations with special focus on the medically under-insured, uninsured, and those experiencing homelessness. Also provides onsite lab, ultrasound, STD testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, health education/groups, blood pressure screening, and free walk-in pregnancy testing. Provides transportation assistance to help clients get to appointments and referral assistance. Serves survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence ages 16 and older and their dependent children. Anyone feeling unsafe in a relationship can call or chat using the confidential hotline, operated by trained, compassionate staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide information and support. Services provided include confidential domestic violence shelter, supportive counseling, legal and court advocacy, assistance obtaining orders of protection, safety planning, parenting after violence service, education and support groups, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing. This series uses a trauma-informed care model in a group setting to cover parenting issues and symptomology related to custody, separation/divorce, co-parenting, parallel parenting, foster care placements, etc. Also provides community trainings to inform and educate Western New Yorkers to recognize the signs of domestic violence and to better understand different forms of abuse. A medically supervised 16-bed detox center adjoined to the back of UConnectCare's Atwater Community Residence in Batavia. Provides a continuum of care under one roof to enable people in need to access short-term (usually 3-7 days) detoxification treatment and services. Center is fully staffed by medical and substance use counseling professionals specially trained and certified to assist people who require short-term services. Care and treatment includes meeting with a counselor every day, participating in individual and group therapy sessions, and receiving support from peer advocates prior to medically-assisted treatment. After detoxification, patients can transition to the Atwater Community Residence, a 17-bed facility for men and women that provides counseling and treatment services for up to a six-month stay (see separate listing for details on Atwater Community Residence). HOURS: Intake: Monday-Friday, 9am-11am. Inpatient Care: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Community Education programs and classes are designed and produced according to perceived need or request from the public. Programs range from free informational presentations to more formal established classes. Speakers are also available for outside presentations.

A New York State Office of Mental Health licensed clinic. Staff serve children from two to 21 years of age and provide diagnostic and treatment services to Western New York youth and their families who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral disturbances or family relationship problems. Offers diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual, family, parent-child and group psychotherapies; psychiatric evaluation and consultation; medication management; and advocacy with and consultation to schools, social services, or other agencies serving clinic patients. The clinic is also home to the University at Buffalo's residency training program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Specialty Treatment Clinics have been developed within Children's Psychiatry Clinic. Clinics provide treatment to specialty populations including eating disorders, Tourette Syndrome, dually diagnosed children who present with mental health and developmental concerns, medically compromised youth, and preschool age children.
