Offers variety of fun activities, crafts, physical activity, and community outings for individuals eligible for OMRDD.

Volunteers do variety of tasks from cleaning, cooking, and gardening to offering listening ear. Volunteers staff house during one or more shifts (9:00 am - Noon; Noon - 3:00 pm; 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm; 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm any day of week). Volunteers answer phones, help out with light cleaning such as load the dishwasher, show guest the house, and help guest get settled.

Provides opportunities for people of all ages and walks of life to assist the staff throughout the hospital, nursing home, and off-site outpatient programs, patient areas and behind the scenes. Volunteer opportunities consist of services to augment the staff, circulating books and magazines, office work, and helping in the gift shop and front desk.

Offers an alternative to a nursing home, hospital, or at-home care for terminally ill persons. Offers 10 beds in private rooms. Open to all regardless of religion, race or financial resources. Offers volunteers a variety of opportunities of outdoor education and recreation, such as teaching, help at specific events, trail maintenance, gardening, exhibit construction, receptionist for 2-hr shift on occasional Saturday, snowplow parking lot, assembly bi-monthly newsletter, and other projects at five sites. Volunteers <18 yrs must be accompanied by parent or adult, on case-by-case approval.
