Comprised of Chenango County youth, ages 12-17, who work toward developing a strategic plan to create positive change for our community's youth. Youth discuss and advocate for programs change and adjustments to better engage youth.

* Provides confidential safe shelter, advocacy and crisis/educational counseling to victims and their children during times of crisis. Services include: Crisis intervention. Needs assessment and evaluation of your situation. Personalized safety plan. Education, information and referrals. Access to safe shelter. Crisis, peer and domestic violence educational counseling. Support group virtual and in person. Referral to therapeutic counseling. Knowledge of victims rights. Assistance with Family Court Petitions, court accompaniments, criminal justice and legal advocacy. Advocacy for housing, social services, medical and other needed services. Transportation to essential services. Community education and outreach.

Provides counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, family court petitions, crime victim compensation claims, advocacy, referrals and more.

Teaches communication skills to benefit marriages and all relationships.

Provides a monthly activity program for children who have been affected by a cancer or sickle cell anemia diagnosis within their immediate family.

* Offers general and open bereavement support groups: Surviving spouses bereavement group. Bereaved parents who have lost a child of any age. LGBT bereavement support groups. Parents who have lost adult children. Parent loss bereavement groups for adults who have lost one or both parents. Grieving grandparents. Bereavement support groups for adult siblings and close friends. Caregivers support groups. Young Widowers support group. Healing After Suicide Loss Anyone who lost someone from suicide.

Provides services to all victims and survivors of domestic violence, including victims and survivors of intimate partner violence and family violence. Operates a confidential shelter and offers extensive support services. Advocates for victims and survivors when interacting with law enforcement and prosecution as well as assist victims and survivors with law enforcement and prosecution. Services include advocacy, accompaniment, information and referral, support, and extensive safety planning. Provides therapy, which includes individual and group domestic violence education. Another service is the counseling, specifically designed for the unique circumstances that victims and survivors encounter. Offers The Law Project which provides consultation and representation on civil-legal matters to income-eligible victims, and survivors within the county.

* Provides support and information services for Sickle Cell patients along with their families and friends, usually in partnership with local community-based organizations.

Offers counseling and support groups for adoption/post-adoptive, post-abortive individual and families. Provides additional classes for pregnancy and childbirth, parenting, child safety, and baby care.

Provides a general, young, and senior support group for widows and widowers.

Provides a support group for gay, bisexual, transgender, same-gender-loving, queer and questioning men to talk about coming out, dating, relationships, sex, religion, and other issues affecting men's communities.

* Offers substance abuse evaluation and assessment. Same day appointments available. * Offers outpatient substance abuse treatment through individual and group therapy. * Offers telehealth services available. * Offers medication Assisted Treatment. * Offers referral to outpatient detoxification. * Offers nicotine treatment with concurrent substance abuse treatment. * Provides family programs which offer support to both patients and families. * Offers outpatient mental health treatment.

* Offers a support group for those coping with the loss of a beloved pet. Monthly group sessions facilitated by grief counselors. Participants learn about the different stages of grief and how to work through feelings of grief, guilt, and loss.

A 12-step self help group that deals with issues of codependency.

Al-Anon is a group for anyone affected by another person's drinking. Al-Anon Family Groups includes Alateen, ages 12 to 18, who are coping with parents, relatives or friends who have a drinking problem. Often, Alateen groups meet at the same time and place as Al-Anon meetings.Call for recorded information on Al-Anon meeting times and places, plus contact names and phone numbers.

* Provides a comprehensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program. Services in person and via Telehealth. Evaluation and assessment Outpatient treatment Individual, Group and Family Counseling Treatment and rehabilitation of minority and low income individuals with substance abuse and addiction* Offers educational workshops and presentations. * Offers a Twelve step program with groups and individual counseling. Available in English and Spanish. Deals with complex inter-related problems associated with poverty addiction, behaviors, and social determinants of health.* Offers Relapse Prevention groups and services. * Offers Medication Assisted Treatment (Suboxone) for Opiate Addiction.

Provides support and information to patients and caregivers through sharing, discussion and outside speakers.

Eight week Support Group for those who are grieving.

* Plans, develops and administers of community based services for older persons in Cayuga County.* Provides information and assistance for senior programs and services such as: Elder In-Home Services Program (EISEP) with case management Caregiver and Alzheimer's Community Service Program Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) Senior Nutrition Program for the Elderly provides home delivered meals and Congregate site meals Benefits application assistance in accessing programs and services Limited Legal services

* Promotes the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons, their families, and friends. Meetings via Zoom on the second Sunday of each month, link on FB page.

A county-wide youth engagement program that teaches junior and senior high school students about Chenango County and the needs of the community. Participants become more aware of their surroundings and community, gain an understanding of volunteerism and the impact it has on society, and learn about fundraising and the ongoing challenges nonprofits face.
