The Rockland County Youth Council is a county-wide unique program that offers positive activities for youth through leadership training, youth advocacy and empowerment and community development and volunteerism.

A program that works in collaboration with schools, which are workshops designed to build knowledge and skills of team work, communication, conflict resolution, self-esteem and diversity, so that their schools and communities are safer and more productive places for themselves and their peers. After 25-30 hours of intensive training youth develop strong relationships and a sense of community that they will carry with them for years to come. The program strives to allow young people to use their voices to express their concerns, fears and dreams within a safe environment.
