CAREGIVER RESOURCE CENTER PROGRAM | ORANGE COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING

Caregivers Respite Program - Niagara County Office for the Aging

Offers kit containing items such as: bright warning stickers (hot, poison, turn-off when done), daily medication dispenser, resource directory, caregiver's guide to Alzheimer's disease, soothing musical tape to help reduce patient anxiety, patient information sheets, medication recorder pocket reference, etc. Free to caregivers. Also offers Veteran's Caregiver Support Kit.

Elder Caregiver Program | Schuyler County Office for the Aging (SCOFA)

Provides assistance to informal caregivers, spouses, adult children, other family members, friends and neighbors, in their efforts to care for an older person who needs help with everyday tasks. This can include certain aspect of personal care, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as, housekeeping, errands, grocery shopping, providing meals, transportation, home repairs, financial support, emotional support and companionship as well as short term respite care within the home. Maintains a resource library for information for caregivers as well as age-related diseases.
