Independent Living provides a bridge between the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing cultures in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess Counties, this program is actively engaged in community outreach and education, employment, advocacy, service coordination, counseling and technical support.

A Westchester County-sponsored early childhood mental health project and early intervention services for children from infancy through age 4 who are attending eligible childhood programs, including South Yonkers Head Start.

Provides a multidisciplinary evaluation for children 3-5yrs, a 2 1/2 hour integrated classroom with individual or group therapies. Also provides parent education programs and parent support group.

Rehabilitative services offered to children ages birth to 5 years suspected or diagnosed with a developmental disability and/or delay, and offers education advocacy for preschool age children which help parents to learn about support services and educational options.

Purpose is to maximize each child's strengths and minimize weaknesses, address every facet of child's development, and encourage and assist parental participation in child's development. Program includes evaluations and services for infants and toddlers individual and family counseling, speech and language therapy, occupational/physical therapies, and education for the visually impaired. Provides services to children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability, who are determined eligible for service based upon evaluations. Aids individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in making choices and finding individualized services. They provide help in navigating through available services including assistance with eligibility determination, service coordination, and advocacy services. Provides evaluation and service coordination for any child suspected of having a developmental delay or a diagnosed disability; provides special instruction, speech, occupational and physical therapy to meet the needs of early intervention eligible children. Provides clinical services to individuals with disabilities and their families including treatment coordination during the eligibility process and while accessing additional agency services; advocacy with other agencies when additional services are needed; psychological services including assessments and therapy; social work; nursing services; nutrition services and rehabilitation counseling. Children with diagnosed disabilities and developmental delays are educated with typically developing peers in affiliation with childcare program. If eligible, services are provided in natural environments (home/community/day care facilities) through the Early Intervention Program as authorized by Suffolk County Division of Services for Children with Special Needs.

Offers a comprehensive continuum of care from center-based classroom models to home and community, outpatient and evaluation services. Serves children ages birth to 21 years with developmental delays, orthopedic impairments and complex medical challenges.

Through center-based programs and home visits, provides comprehensive child development and family support services to low income families with children under three and pregnant women. Offers extensive parent education on prenatal care, nutrition, child care needs, clothing, food and housing concerns. Inspire offers evaluative and outpatient services for children with a variety of developmental delays or challenges and runs a highly regarded preschool program for all children. Children who have a developmental disability, are also eligible to receive services in our Article 16 Developmental Disabilities Clinic at 2 Fletcher Street in Goshen. Our Intake Coordinator will help you determine if you can be enrolled.

This program provides both an early intervention and preschool program, which assesses the level of each child's abilities and prepare a program to build on their strengths. Class sizes range from 6-12 children, and offer half and full day sessions.

CCCCNC hosts Developmental Screening services for newborns to children aged 5 years old. At these screenings you will receive free, valuable feedback on your child’s development by early childhood specialists.

Provides support services to young children with developmental delays in their homes and other community settings. Special education, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, and counseling can be provided in daycare, preschools and family homes. Teaching in the natural environment focuses on sensory and language rich activities, adaptive living skills, and social skill development, as well as building attention and pre-readiness skills. For young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, the Center for Spectrum Services can design home programs employing a verbal behavior approach following the principles of applied behavioral analysis. Each child's program is individually designed to meet their unique learning style and level of family participation.
