John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) is a regional center for pediatric and women’s health, located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. As one of the only freestanding children's hospitals in New York State, OCH provides comprehensive care to infants, children, teens and young adults up to age 21, along with specialized women’s health services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum support. The hospital features a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit and is home to a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the highest level of care available for critically ill or premature newborns. With 185 inpatient beds and a rooftop helipad, OCH also houses an ACS-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center—one of the few in the region.
