Provides complimentary hair replacement systems to any eligible child up to 18 yrs who has lost hair as a result of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns or other medical circumstances.Accepts hair donations. Hair must be minimum of 12" in length, clean, dry, secured with rubber bands in either ponytail or braid, wrapped or sealed in a Ziploc bag, and mailed to Wigs for Kids. Please enclose name of donor, address, phone number and email address for acknowledgement purposes. Please consider a monetary donation to help cover cost of processing the hair.

Blind Mobility Aids
Serves the community while providing students with on-site clinical training while providing a full range of diagnostic and therapy services in both speech-language pathology and audiology. Services are coordinated by full-time supervisory staff. All supervisors hold ASHA certification and NYS licensure. Assistive hearing devices also available for almost half of market price.The Center is a part of the Department of Communication Disorders and operates on a not-for-profit basis. Members of the community are charged nominal fees for the services available at the Center.

Young children, their parents, siblings, teachers and Occupational Therapists, any of whom may be blind or visually impaired, use these materials...as well as children who have dyslexia, autism, cerebral palsy or learning delays. The Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program provides access to assistive technology to any New Yorker with a disability through Regional TRAID Centers. Regional TRAID Centers provide device loans and hands-on training to people with disabilities.
Community based service group which lends sick room equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, bath seats, commodes, bedside tables, etc, to residents of the Three Village School District. Contact is made by phone and answering machine.
