Offers a 7-week course, each semester, to help immigrants to prepare for the citizenship exam. This course is designed for individuals whose English is at least at a high-beginning level (ELI Level 3+). Students will learn about American history and government to prepare them for the civics portion of the exam, and will practice their English skills to prepare for the reading, writing, and speaking portions of the exam. By the end of the course, students will also be familiar with the structure of the Citizenship interview.

Offers students a full-time, two-year program that qualifies students to sit for any of five registry examinations in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. This accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Western Suffolk BOCES prepares students to work with patients and medical staff in physicians’ offices, hospitals and clinics. The BOCES curriculum integrates basic sciences, medical sciences and instruction in diagnostic medical sonography with supervised clinical experience in hospitals and doctors’ offices from Manhattan to Southampton.
