Serves part-time students and working adults interested in pursuing degrees by taking courses during evening, online or at the Syracuse campus. Offers a variety of courses and subjects, both credit bearing and non-credit bearing. Also offers Summer and Winter session courses, which provide opportunities to take accelerated courses outside of the standard fall and spring semesters.

Offers a non-credit-bearing certificate program leading to eligibility for the licensure examination and PN licensure. This program includes classroom theory, theoretical knowledge, and clinical experiences to prepare students to take the NCLEX-PN for licensure as a Practical Nurse and the opportunity to pursue advanced college training. The Eastern Suffolk School of Practical Nursing offers the following programs each September: An 11-month, full-time day program which meets September through August, M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; A 17-month, part-time evening program which meets September through June, M-Th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. AND the following September through March, M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and A part-time day program is available to seniors enrolled in the high schools of the first supervisory district which meets September through June, M-F from 7:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. OR 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Bixhorn Technical Center in Bellport, NY; AND will meet the following September through March, M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Level II post secondary at the Adult Education Center in Brentwood. Provides you with the tools necessary to become a medical assistant. You will develop skills in the clinical and administrative aspects of the medical office. In our program, you can gain the entry-level skills necessary to be competitive in the workforce. Offers a 7-week course, each semester, to help immigrants to prepare for the citizenship exam. This course is designed for individuals whose English is at least at a high-beginning level (ELI Level 3+). Students will learn about American history and government to prepare them for the civics portion of the exam, and will practice their English skills to prepare for the reading, writing, and speaking portions of the exam. By the end of the course, students will also be familiar with the structure of the Citizenship interview.
