SAIL provides information and assistance concerning long term care planning for individuals with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties. Information and assistance is provided for establishing Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Supplemental Needs Trusts, and accessing long term care services. SAIL provides information and assistance to persons with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties concerning Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance. The center also provides insurance counseling and advisement for choosing the most appropriate coverage, as well as information concerning co-insurance and gap policies.

Lawyers provide free civil (non-criminal) advice, counseling, advocacy, and representation to low-income individual clients/groups.

* Provides services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities that include the following: Residential services Day habilitation - offers a variety of opportunities for individuals with special needs to develop skills for personal growth. Community habilitation Self-direction, including fiscal intermediary Supported employment and work readiness Child care Respite (overnight, after school, teen night, Camp Heritage and in-home respite)

* Oversees the proceedings in order to ensure that the assets of the estate are managed and distributed in accordance with New York State law and/or the decedent's wishes.* Surrogate's Court also has jurisdiction in adoption proceedings.

Offera advice and assistance in completing end of life legal documents including wills, living wills, health care proxies, and powers of attorney on a one-on-one basis. Notaries and witnesses are provided to execute the documents at the end of the client's session.

Assists families with financial and life planning for a child or adult with an intellectual or developmental disability.

Service provides assistance and information regarding future health and personal care when one is unable to speak for themselves.

Foreclosures. * Provides information for referrals for civil legal needs that are not listed. Resources can oftentimes link people with a source of assistance.
