Too Good For Violence is a school-based prevention program that addresses the most significant risk and protective factors at each developmental level K-12Too Good for Drugs is an evidence-based prevention program designed to reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use among students K-12.Teen Intervene is designed specifically for high school students, who are experiencing mild to moderate problems associated with alcohol or other drug use.

An interactive program that consists of 7-10 lessons taught once a week by prevention educators. It focuses on developing personal and interpersonal skills to resist pressures to use drugs and engage in negative behaviors. Skills include: goal setting, decision-making, bonding with others, identifying and managing emotions, and communicating effectively.

Provides a one-hour workshop for 7th-8th grade girls on preventing relational aggression. Schools may call to request special scheduling of this workshop.

Offers children in first and second-grade important personal safety lessons while getting them actively involved in the learning process. The McGruff Program seeks to give children the social tools they need to recognize bullying behavior, prevent it from occurring and handle it effectively when confronted with a tough situation whether on the playground, the bus, the lunchroom or playing in the neighborhood. Goal of the At-Risk Youth Jail Tour is to educate youth about the potential consequences of poor choices. A growing number of Suffolk County`s youth are in danger of falling prey to criminal and gang activity. Young teens especially face peer pressures that often make them act in ways that help them become “accepted” by a group, but they have no idea about the consequences of their behavior. As a result, many young people at an early age begin what may become a painful life of criminal behavior. These tours must be scheduled in advance and the youth must be accompanied by a parent.
