Primarily serves Onondaga County.

Provides a prevention program that promotes low-risk choices for students and reflects the attitudes, behaviors, and values of healthy lifestyles. Peer Educators are trained to facilitate on-campus and off-campus presentations that deal with alcohol and other drugs, general wellness, violence prevention, and sexual health. Other services include street outreach, resource and information library, video library, pamphlets, brochures, and periodicals.

Encourages male-identified adults and youth to work as allies with female-identified adults and youth to prevent domestic and sexual violence and create healthy relationships.

Provides prevention, intervention, and education services. Offers community, professional, and school-based education on domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and dating violence. Provides advocacy, accompaniment, referrals, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, and emotional support to individuals experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence.

Provides support and advocacy for victims of sexual harassment and/or assault as well as prevention and awareness training.

Serves as a sentencing option for use by the courts for men convicted of abuse toward their partners. Focuses on giving men a wide range of information about intimate partner abuse.

Partners with alcohol-serving establishments in Onondaga County to create safe environments that help to prevent sexual and relationship violence and sexual harassment. Participating establishments' staff and management are trained in the Safer Bars Model, which focuses on bystander intervention and building skills for identifying and responding to sexual aggression and relationship abuse, with a focus on prevention.

Provides free trainings on the topics of domestic/family violence and/or sexual assault to allied professional or human services agencies. Offers trainings in several Jefferson County schools regarding topics such as teen dating violence and bullying.

Offers a crisis intervention hotline to victims of rape and sexual assault. Also provides clients advocacy, transportation, court accompaniment and preparation, and individual and group counseling. Provides to the community education and primary prevention services. Crime Victim Compensation assistance through the NYS office of Victim Services.

VIBS provides speakers on a variety of topics to colleges, community groups and also provides professional training on a variety of subjects. Topics include trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse. We seek to prevent incidences of these crimes through education and raising awareness.

Coordinates with the Chautauqua County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team to respond to child physical and sexual abuse cases to reduce trauma to children and non-offending family members and stewards of children. Offers a prevention and response training for adults. Provides trauma counseling and problematic sexual behavior counseling for children 17 and under.

Offers a 24-hour crisis intervention hotline providing advocacy at all hours for victims of sexual assault. Programming also includes transportation, court accompaniment and preparation, individual and group counseling, community education, primary prevention, crime victim compensation assistance through NYS Office of Victim Services, and outreach to rural victims of sexual assault.

Provides crisis intervention and support for victims of family violence, elder abuse, rape, and sexual assault. Offers safe, confidential services including counseling, safety-planning, court advocacy, and referrals. Also provides comprehensive domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, elder abuse, and bullying prevention programs available for schools, community groups, women's groups, scouting troops, and other interested groups.

Offers Outreach and Prevention Programs designed to inform and empower the community on topics of Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking through advocacy and education in an effort to reduce the occurrence of these problems. Programs work to spread awareness on how to handle disclosures in a trauma informed way and to link audience with relevant resources in the community.

Residential and Shelter Program: Open to all victims of domestic violence and their children. Provides information and referral, advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, support group, and case management. Non-Residential Services: Chautauqua County Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Hotline, information and referral, advocacy, support groups, crisis intervention, and case management. Children and Family Outreach: Provides group and individual counseling services to children who are past or present victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or child abuse. Education and Outreach: Offers presentations in schools and the community on a variety of topics, with a focus on domestic violence and sexual assault. Support Groups: For women and children; call hotline for meeting times, location, etc.

Provides crisis intervention and support services to anyone who is a survivor of sexual assault or domestic violence and to their families. All services are confidential. Trained counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide information and support, enabling clients to make informed choices concerning medical, legal, and counseling needs, while offering advocacy and information about their rights. Counselors offer short-term counseling (6-8 sessions); medical, legal, and court accompaniment; crisis intervention for sexual assault survivors and their significant others; support through medical examinations and treatment; advocacy and support during interaction with law enforcement; individual consultations with professionals; community education programs; professional training programs; and referrals for additional needed services. Serves as the point of contact for domestic violence shelter placement in Wyoming County. Services include: crisis intervention for sexual assault survivors and their significant others, hotline, short-term counseling, support through medical examinations and treatment, advocacy and support during interaction with law enforcement, court accompaniment, individual consultations with professionals, community education programs, professional training programs, and referrals for additional needed services. In Wyoming County ONLY, offers a dual Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence program, which provides the Non-Shelter Domestic Violence Services as well as the sexual assault services listed above. Domestic violence services include hotline, counseling, court accompaniment, assistance with obtaining orders of protection, and referrals for safe housing.

Offers presentations on rape and sexual assault to high schools, colleges and community groups. Also provides a newsletter on rape issues and a "Learn at Lunch" series on sexual assault.

Rape Crisis Center that also provides services addressing Domestic Violence, Family Violence, and Elder Abuse. Provides 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when a victim of rape, domestic/family violence, or elder abuse is identified. Services include crisis intervention, support, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. Crisis Services also has a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program that operates throughout Erie County and Niagara County in partnership with YMCA Niagara. Satellite offices are located at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office. Speakers and trainers are available. Advocates are also co-located at various college campuses across Erie County.

Offers domestic violence and sexual assault prevention education and outreach to community organizations and schools. Community educators or leaders are able to create presentations, attend conferences and sit in on informational panels. A wide range of prevention presentations are offered to elementary, middle, and high school students in the community.

Provides an awareness program for college students, faculty and staff. These trainings educate attendees on the red flags of abuse, where to go both on and off campus for help, how to help a friend who may be abused, sexual assault and the conditions of consent, how to be an active bystander, and how to report a crime and know your rights. In addition, students and staff will be educated on policies regarding the distribution of sexually explicitly images/videos.
