Trained counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide information and support, enabling clients to make informed choices concerning medical, legal, and counseling needs, while offering advocacy and information about their rights. Counselors offer short-term counseling (6-8 sessions); medical, legal, and court accompaniment; crisis intervention for sexual assault survivors and their significant others; support through medical examinations and treatment; advocacy and support during interaction with law enforcement; individual consultations with professionals; community education programs; professional training programs; and referrals for additional needed services. Serves as the point of contact for domestic violence shelter placement in Wyoming County. Offers presentations on rape and sexual assault to high schools, colleges and community groups. Also provides a newsletter on rape issues and a "Learn at Lunch" series on sexual assault.
Rape Crisis Center that also provides services addressing Domestic Violence, Family Violence, and Elder Abuse. Provides 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when a victim of rape, domestic/family violence, or elder abuse is identified. Services include crisis intervention, support, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. Crisis Services also has a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program that operates throughout Erie County and Niagara County in partnership with YMCA Niagara. Satellite offices are located at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office. Speakers and trainers are available. Advocates are also co-located at various college campuses across Erie County.

Community educators or leaders are able to create presentations, attend conferences and sit in on informational panels. A wide range of prevention presentations are offered to elementary, middle, and high school students in the community.

Provides an awareness program for college students, faculty and staff. These trainings educate attendees on the red flags of abuse, where to go both on and off campus for help, how to help a friend who may be abused, sexual assault and the conditions of consent, how to be an active bystander, and how to report a crime and know your rights. In addition, students and staff will be educated on policies regarding the distribution of sexually explicitly images/videos.
