TRIP offers pre and post purchase housing and financial programs and services to assist first time home-buyers and current homeowners to be successful over the long term. Services include individual housing and financial counseling, home-buyer education classes, foreclosure prevention services, landlord training, home repairs, and more.

Families falling behind on mortgage payments can speak with a housing counselor. They will discuss methods to stop foreclosure, including loan modification, forbearance plans, or other plans to allow the family to remain in the home and catch up on missed payments.

Provides a program designed to help homeowners remain in their homes by preventing and/or delaying foreclosure. Cases covered include mortgage foreclosure, tax foreclosures, and tenants being evicted due to foreclosure.

Landlord/Tenant Dispute Resolution: Aids individuals struggling with their landlord for reasons ranging from eviction, living conditions, recurring problems, etc. Foreclosure Assistance: helps advocate for individuals with mortgage foreclosure with guidance through the legal process and representation, if needed.

Offers one-on-one HUD approved housing counseling designed to present the basics of personal finances, to help establish good credit and/or repair bad credit, to assist participants in making the transition from renter to owner or to help resolve mortgage delinquency and/or prevent foreclosure.

Represents clients in personal bankruptcy proceedings in federal court and counsel debtors on available alternatives to bankruptcy. Representation is provided by upper-level law students, working under the close supervision of experienced lawyers who are clinical professors. There is no charge for clinic representation.
