Foreclosure Prevention Project - Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo

* Staff are currently working remotely due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. All current evictions with a court date and current housing code violation cases have been postponed until further notice. For any questions or concerns, please call and leave a voicemail or contact via email. * Provides help for homeowners who are either currently in foreclosure or for whom foreclosure is imminent. If foreclosure will be happening soon, efforts are coordinated with local housing-counseling agencies and banks to address financial and employment issues and to secure mortgage modifications before the initiation of any legal process. Negotiates mortgage modifications on behalf of the homeowner in ongoing foreclosure actions.
