Provides outreach and assistance to people in need of food, entitlement programs, information, and referrals. The van visits user friendly locations, libraries, homeless enclaves, parks, community events, and shopping center parking lots. Includes an on board food pantry with basic food staples.

Provides seniors with free food every other week that is delivered to their housing facility or site. The food is distributed to the community room within the building for seniors to pick from fresh produce, dairy, and other items that are delivered.

2-1-1 Tompkins/Cortland handles all phone registrations for mobile distribution events in Tompkins County. Currently, one distribution in Freeville on the second Tuesday of each month. Registration begins one day prior, either online or by calling 2-1-1 or 877-211-8667. Distributes food to people in need through more than 160 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other hunger relief organizations six counties.Administers several direct service food distribution programs including the food "BackPack Program" and Mobile Food Pantry.BackPack Program requires very specific foods. When the mobile food pantry truck arrives at a site, volunteers place the food on tables surrounding the truck. Clients are then able to "shop", choosing items that they need.
