Assistance is available, when funds exist, for food and hygiene products, typically in the form of food vouchers/gift cards. Provides financial assistance, budgeting, advocacy, and referral. Counseling offered for depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, communication issues, problem solving, family transitions, and parent/child conflicts. Offers grief support groups and Domestic Violence Victims weekly support groups. Confidential location of the Domestic Violence Victims group is shared with women when they call for information. Other support groups may be formed based on need or upon request.

Provides weekly programs at the Batavia Senior Center. Some of the programs offered are bridge, line dancing, cribbage, arthritis chair-based exercise, quilters, and painting classes. New groups are always being organized. Special programs such as 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course, educational, health, and informational programs are also offered. Day trips to concerts, exhibits, musical productions, restaurants, and areas of special interest are also scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. Senior groups and clubs exist in most areas of the county which offer luncheons and pot luck dinners. Most groups offer programs of interest, entertainment, day trips, and other recreational activities.

Assists clients in making informed choices regarding their long term care needs by offering information on which providers offer needed services nearest to them and helping clients contact these providers. Also serves as the point of contact for the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income seniors with coupons that can be exchanged for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs) at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs.
