Provides emergency assistance to individuals with an urgent need for food, personal care items, medication, or other assistance due to an unforeseen emergency; food vouchers provided. Works with clients on budgeting to prevent future emergencies. Provides group for separated/divorced parents and significant others who want to reduce conflict and effectively parent their children. Provides domestic violence classes for men whose participation is court ordered. These classes provide information on the impact of men's abuse of power on family members; men's violence against women in society and how to end it; the historical, societal and cultural aspects of domestic abuse, oppression, racism, and sexism; and community efforts to stop domestic violence at the local and national level. Also provides friendly phone calls for older adults in Genesee County.

Application process
Call 585-343-0614 for an appointment and to complete the intake process. Applicants will need to provide proof of emergency, ID for everyone in household (such as social security cards or birth certificates), proof of income, and proof of expenses/bills.
