Offers summit that provides training and information to high school students on becoming school and community leaders. Participants collectively identify the priority issues that are facing youth today, and discuss these in a small group forum with elected state and county leaders.
Provides fiscal and oversight services for municipal recreation programs within the county that are funded through NYSOCF. Also provides additional funding to agencies providing youth services. No direct programs are offered by the Youth Bureau.
Provides advocacy and support toward youth service goals and positive recreational development for children and families. Also serves as a central information and referral clearing house for youth and families.

Offers two awards annually to recognize individuals who significantly support children and youth in Steuben County. The Youth Service Worker of the Year Award recognizes line staff who provide direct services to youth. The Champion for Youth Award recognizes those who significantly support youth from behind the scenes such as community officials, program administrators, board members, or other key volunteers.

Provides funding to non-profit grass roots community youth groups who serve young people up to the age 18. The youth groups must be non-discriminatory and funding is for program use only.
