A High-Risk Youth program offering HIV education, counseling and testing. Medical and psychosocial care for HIV-positive youth is coordinated with the Allergy/Immunology Division.

Offers a spectrum of breast health services including education, early detection screenings, breast cancer treatment and support. Provides computer-assisted mammography, ultrasound, and a breast biopsy system. Satellite services offered in East Hampton and Hampton Bays.

Offers short-term intensive interventions for people living with HIV who are either newly diagnosed or previously diagnosed but not in care in order to successfully link them with medical care and case management services. Offers free rapid HIV testing.

Protect Allergic Kids (PAK) is a nonprofit arganization and support group that provides a wealth of information on food allergies, anaphylaxis and allergic diseases including Eosinophilic disorders and Celiacs. The PAK program is available to parents, caregivers, teachers and anyone who knows a child affected by these medical conditions. Topics will be discussed including: how to recognize an allergic reaction, safe practices and support at school for food-allergic children, explanation of various food-allergic diseases and resources such as allergen-free foods and books. Offers Speakers Bureau for Schools, libraries, Daycare Centers, etc.

Provides an 18-bed inpatient unit as well as ambulatory and satellite programs tailored to the unique medical and developmental needs of teenagers and young adults. Services include: General Health Care, Eating Disorders Center, Weight Management Center, Atherosclerosis Prevention Center, Adolescent Gynecology, Deaf Health Services, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Services, Behavioral Health Services, HIV Prevention Services and School Based Health Services.

Only voluntary national organization dedicated to helping people cope with the problems associated with osteogenesis imperfecta, a bone disorder characterized by fragile bone that breaks easily. Also known as "brittle bone disease".

Provides housing in apartments for persons with mental illness, for families with parent(s) living with mental illness, and those living with mental illness and HIV+. Client can access community services, develop skills for daily living when necessary, manage finances, and advocate for themselves.

Provides training, seminars, conferences workshops, and lectures to health and human service providers regarding HIV/AIDS. Arranges preceptorships and mini-residencies for all level clinicians.

Dedicated to breast health using a grassroots approach to raise individual and community awareness and action. Focuses on the causes of breast cancer, the need for prevention, monitoring, informed treatment and accessibility of health care. Conducts a Latino Support Group which meets the last Friday of the month accommodating Spanish speaking participants. Registration is required. Call for further information.

Children and adolescents with HIV infection and other diseases that lead to secondary, not genetically defined immune defects, are evaluated and treated. Physicians, Nurse Specialists, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and Laboratory Technologists formulate treatment protocols for these children.

Offers survivors of brain injury and their caregivers the opportunity to meet with their peers to discuss concerns, coping strategies and experiences. Call for additional information.

Provides renal care for adult patients with end-stage renal disease including in-center hemodialysis, end-stage renal disease exercise counseling program, educational programs, and access to transplant programs. Offers vacation and seasonal scheduling.

Provides genetic couseling to assist patients understand their risk for genetic disease, causes of genetic disease and possible affects. Focus on cancer counseling through genetic testing for ovarian and breast cancer.

Teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Includes lessons on skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories and styling, helping people with cancer. Call for meeting dates and times.

Offers individual and group spiritual retreats. Publishes annual calendar of events and offers Prayer-Faith support group for women who have/had cancer. Also has a Prayer Enrollment Office. Call for information.

Offers asthma screenings and education for faith-based organizations.

Evaluates and treats children with allergic diseases that include: allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, and eczema. A nurse specialist and social worker provide counseling.

Offers a team approach (nurses, social workers, therapists and nutritionists) to provide patient/family centered asthma education and manage asthma care at home. Services include medication management, environmental and lifestyle assessment, emergency management and health monitoring through a telehealth program. Works collaboratively with patient's physician to follow treatment plans and manage asthma effectively. Communicates with school health staff and educators as needed to support children attending school.

Offers a patient support group for individuals diagnosed with a blood cancer. Meetings are facilitated by a social worker and an oncology nurse. Call for locations and times.

The Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program is a comprehensive program designed to meet the medical and mental health needs of teens and young adults ages 13-24 that are HIV positive.Please call for more information. Appointments are required
