Provides breast health and breast cancer education. Offers bilingual workshops, attends community events, and provides outreach throughout Long Island. Also offers referrals to free/low cost mammograms for women who are uninsured and/or undocumented.

Treats patients with a wide range of chronic pain problems, including: head and neck pain, back pain, arthritis, pelvic and urogenital pain, and pain resulting from injuries, surgery, or various diseases. Treatment may include, but is not limited to: medication, surgery, spinal cord stimulation, nucleoplasty and Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy (IDET).

Dedicated to breast health using a grassroots approach to raise individual and community awareness and action. Focuses on the causes of breast cancer, the need for prevention, monitoring, informed treatment and accessibility of health care. Children and adolescents with HIV infection and other diseases that lead to secondary, not genetically defined immune defects, are evaluated and treated. Physicians, Nurse Specialists, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and Laboratory Technologists formulate treatment protocols for these children.

Offers survivors of brain injury and their caregivers the opportunity to meet with their peers to discuss concerns, coping strategies and experiences. Call for additional information.

Provides renal care for adult patients with end-stage renal disease including in-center hemodialysis, end-stage renal disease exercise counseling program, educational programs, and access to transplant programs. Offers vacation and seasonal scheduling.

Provides support and assists psychosocial programs specifically targeting and identifying the needs and issues faced by children with cancer and their families. Provides supplementary outpatient financial assistance to patients with leukemia, the lymphomas, multiple myeloma, Hodgkins and preleukemia as well as referral to other services in the community. Call for more information.

Subsidizes the Burn Center at Nassau County Medical Center by purchasing equipment when the county is unable to absorb the cost. Covers the cost of sending doctors and nurses to burn treatment seminars. Raises funds to supplement the cost of renovations to the burn center over and above what the county will fund.
