Regularly participates in health and wellness events for not-for-profits, schools and businesses. The hospital also offers health and wellness events, support groups and other programs to help meet the needs of our community. As part of our Speakers Bureau, our professional and medical staff speak for free on a variety of health and wellness topics at locations including churches, community centers, senior centers and civic groups. Offers listeners a radio show program featuring scientists, philosophers, researchers, authors, mediums and other experts on grief, death, near death experiences, after death communications and all other related topics. Provides emergency shelter for families who are homeless in Nassau County. Majority of beds require authorization from the Nassau County Department of Social Services.
