Educates individuals, community groups and at risk populations on Long Island about HIV/AIDS. General community programs include: HIV Overview, Teen Peer Training, Professional Development, Parent/Caregiver and Teen HIV Training, Multiple-Session Education and Skill Building Programs for out of school youth, homeless adolescents and active substance users are available. Programs for people living with HIV/AIDS include: HIV and Disclosure Training, Health Education and Risk Reduction Program and confidential rapid HIV and HCV testing for partners and social networks of HIV+ individuals. For adults over 50 and communities of color, STI testing is available.

Preserves the history of the 14th Regiment New York State Militia and the American Civil War. Living history presentations are done at schools, historical societies, museums, parades and other events. Sets up a camp that resembles one from the Civil War, does drill and firing exhibitions and runs through a brief drill using wooden muskets. Restores grave sites of the Veterans of the 14th Regiment N.Y.S.M. All presentations are given in full civil war uniform.

Informational presentations are available for all services provided by the Nassau County Department of Social Services.
